NEOCP Identification Monitor

Public beta · This page tracks possible linkages as proposed by a ML identification algorithm. Items marked in green as match are very likely real identifications; the rest is still in progress and may be spurious. This is a public beta, not a production tool.
Every NEOCP object new or grown since the last pass is screened against the known-object catalogue and ranked, and EVERY candidate scoring over 0.01 is checked with a PyRoOrb joint fit, however far down the list it sits. The top 10 are shown, plus any lower-ranked candidate that fits (marked with its rank). Above the objects, Last three successes shows the newest objects we got right (from the full history), All matches and considers lists every find in one place, and Top 10 by rating ranks every object's candidates together whatever the check said; their rows work exactly as they do further down. Comets are ranked and checked like any candidate but are never auto-submittable: a comet identification goes to the MPC as a Jira ticket. NEOCP = NEOCP pairs two objects on the page that may be one body: each object's best partners by an orbit screen (the closest any orbit through one object's first night comes to the other's observations, in arcsec), each checked with a joint fit of both. match and consider can both be submitted by whoever holds the NEOCP submit password; auto-submittable marks the matches that passed the auto-submit gate (fits in position and magnitude), the ones a future automatic mode would send. see fit opens the joint fit in PyRoOrb. Nothing is ever sent without a click. The page refreshes every 30 s.
